Where in Weston-super-Mare are your accountancy offices?
Our accountancy offices are located on Wadham Street next to the Blakehay Theatre near Grove Park in Weston-super-Mare.
There is a 24 hour pay and display car park next to our offices and we are approximately a 15 minute walk from Weston-super-Mare station.
I’m not based in Weston-super-Mare. Can you still be my accountant?
Yes. At PW John & Co we provide accountancy services for a variety of different businesses across Somerset. Whilst the majority of our clients are based in the South West, through the use of Cloud based software, we work with companies across the UK.
I’m a small business. Do I need an accountant?
Hiring an accountant is not mandatory for business owners, however many small business owners find it beneficial to work with an accountant.

I want to change accountants. Can you help?
Yes. Contrary to what your current accountant may lead you to believe, it is relatively easy to change accountants.
Once you’ve notified your current accountant that you no-longer require their services, we will take care of the formalities with minimal involvement from yourself. We will contact your current accountant for professional clearance and to request any relevant paperwork. We will then draw up a letter of engagement and request authorisation from relevant HMRC departments allowing us to act on your behalf.
I’m looking for a price. What are your fees?
Our fees are calculated based on each clients unique needs. In order to provide you with a quotation we invite you to arrange a free initial consultation so that we can discuss your requirements in more detail.
Do I need to meet with you?
In order to provide you with a quote we would first like to arrange an initial consultation. Depending on your preferences we can arrange a ‘face to face’ meeting, video call or telephone call.

What happens at a consultation meeting?
Our free consultation meeting typically lasts between 30-45 minutes, during which we will discuss your business and the level of support that you are looking for from your accountant. There will also be the opportunity for you to ask any questions that you might have.
Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements we will provide you with a detailed quotation.
