SFI Annual Health and Welfare Review for Farmers

Farmers who keep cattle, sheep or pigs could be eligible for funding to pay for a vet to visit your farm to carry out a health and welfare review of your livestock.

The SFI Annual Health and Welfare Review is a funded annual visit from your chosen vet or team of vets. Designed to reduce endemic diseases (such as BVD and PRRS), improve the welfare of your animals and increase productivity, the review will allow you and your vet to concentrate on your specific health and welfare priorities amongst your livestock.

If eligible, the payment will help to cover the costs for the vets visit, your time and some testing for endemic diseases.

Read the official guidance on the SFI Annual Health and Welfare Review.

Please visit the Government website to check eligibility or register your interest.
